Dehydrated some herbs recently? Great, because now you can make this garlic bread with your own herb mix. This bread is an excellent appetizer and goes well with French or Italian dishes. Try serving your guests your home-made garlic baguettes and they’ll keep asking for more!
What you’ll need for this recipe:
1 baguette
50 grams of butter
2-3 table spoons minced garlic
1 table spoon of dried parsley (you can also use herbs of your own liking).
- Soak fresh parsley cold water for a (half) day and dehydrate them for 4-5 hours at 70 °C, until they are completely dry.
- Crush the dried parsley by hand
- Lightly melt the butter (heat in pan or 10-15 seconds in the microwave) and add the herbs and minced garlic. Mix them well. If needed, add more sea salt to the mixture to your liking.
- Cut your baguette in pieces and spread your butter mixture. Put the baguette in a heated oven at 180 °C for 5 to 10 minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!
